This week we are giving away Dr. James Hamilton’s “What is Biblical Theology?” Here’s the publisher’s description of what you’ll find in the book, plus the Table of Contents.
“The Bible recounts a single story—one that began at creation, encompasses our lives today, and will continue till Christ’s return and beyond. In What Is Biblical Theology?, Jim Hamilton introduces us to this narrative, helping us understand the worldview of the biblical writers so that we can read the Old and New Testaments as those authors intended. Tracing the key patterns, symbols, and themes that bind the Bible together, this book will help you understand Scripture’s unified message and find your place in the great story of redemption (Crossway).”

From what I’ve heard, this book is a wonderful introduction to studying Biblical Theology.
What a blessing this book would be to read for myself and my fellow brother.
Looks like an interesting book.
well. neat.
Please let me win! What a great collection!
looks like a fascinating book to read
Thank you.
I have a hard time figuring out the difference between Biblical and Systematic Theology so thought this book would be helpful.
My pastor’s current sermon series is on Genesis but from a Biblical theology perspective. If I win, I’ll donate it to the church library so the whole congregation can benefit.
Looks like a great book.
I enjoy biblical theology and Dr. Jim Hamilton’s writing.
Cause I love to study Biblical Theology to understand the Scriptures better.
Properly understood, biblical theology is critical to a proper view of Scripture. Jeff Johnson’s book, The Kingdom of God, is a good Baptist primer on this topic.
Looks like an excellent resource as I seek to complete my doctoral dissertation on discovering congregational purpose by understanding our unique church identity, in our context.
When I finish reading the Bible straight through, I start over again. I’ll never forget the first time, when I realized how it all fit together. As a Christian author, I’m fascinated by Book One in the table of contents above. Not sure I’ve ever seen the Bible analyzed with an eye to story.
I have been wanting this book by Dr. Hamilton.
